Terms and Conditions for Purchasing and Downloading e-Books

The following terms and conditions are exclusively valid at the time of order for any purchased download from Identities CIC.

1.    Acquisition of workbooks
1.1 A precondition for any download is free registration of identitiesforwomen.org.uk stating customer data, some being mandatory.  The registration and free choice of password are used for tracking users, purchases and payments. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to keep the password secret and to ensure that it is not accessible to third parties. The customer is fully liable for any action taken in connection with the use of the password.
1.2 By entering data the customer confirms the accurateness and compliance of that data, namely the legal capacity of customers.
1.3 This Service is available for individuals aged 16 years or older. If you are under the age of 18, you should review these terms and conditions with your parent or guardian to make sure that you and your parent or guardian understand these terms and conditions.
1.4 In case of changes to personal data, the customer is responsible for updating it on identitiesforwomen.org.uk  immediately.
1.5 Identities CIC reserves the right to refuse the registration of individual customers. An earlier approved customer may be revoked at any time without an obligation to state reasons. Identities CIC in this case is entitled to block the respective user name and password with immediate effect.
1.6 The customer may cancel the identitiesforwomen.org.uk customer account at any time. For this purpose an email must be sent to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

2.    Agreement for Purchase
2.1 The presentation of products in our Help Yourself Toolkit is a non-binding online E learning platform.
2.2 The agreement is made after entry of personal data (username and password) to identitiesforwomen.org.uk, the selection of the desired title and the initiation of the payment process by the selection of the payment method and the confirmation of purchase. By clicking the "Checkout" button you are giving a binding agreement for goods contained in the order in the basket. The transaction is exclusively processed in English. The agreement is entered into with Identities CIC and the payment process is conducted by Paypal.
2.3 When the purchase is completed, the customer receives both a confirmation and an invoice to their e-mail address. The emails will conclude the purchase.
2.4 Your purchased document will then be available to download.  The download can occur once; therefore it is advisable to save immediately to your computer or USB Flash Drive.

3.    Free Downloadable Documents
3.1 The customer may download free documents from identitiesforwomen.org.uk.  Free downloads are free of charge and no contractual obligation need be entered into. The documents are ordered by the customer registering their details.

4.    Acquisition of Rights and Copyrights in Downloads
4.1 All works offered are copyrighted or otherwise protected works unless otherwise stated. The customer acknowledges those rights explicitly by the purchase of titles. The customer gets the not transferable right to use the purchased titles for personal use only in the way they are supposed to be used according to respective copyrights.  No property rights in the works of any kind are acquired. All rights transferred are subject to the payment of the full purchase price. A transfer of rights to third parties is expressly excluded. The customer is not permitted to make editorial changes or to use modified versions of the works or to provide copies to third parties or to make them publicly available, resell, offer or forward them through the Internet or other networks, whether or not for any commercial purposes.    
5.    Pricing and Payments
5.1 Prices indicated on identitiesforwomen.org.uk at the time of the order are applicable. In case of an update in prices and information, all previous prices and information will become invalid at the time the new prices are shown.
5.2 Payments are made by using the payment method used by Identities CIC, which is currently Paypal. The amount charged to your credit/debit card will be credited immediately after the order has been processed.  No downloads can take place without payment being first authorised by Paypal.

6.    Liability
6.1 The use of the e workbooks/ e books from identitiesforwomen.org.uk is at your own risk.
6.2 All information, technical data and performance descriptions that appear in the e workbooks /e books are of purely informative and offering a wider knowledge nature. Identities CIC seeks the accuracy of the information, but cannot be held liable for it.
6.3 Identities CIC cannot warrant for the products meeting the requirements of customers at any time without interruption, timely, secure or error free.
6.4 Neither can Identities CIC be warranted that errors on the website or in the hardware or software will be corrected immediately at all times. Damage to any technical device or for the loss of data or other damages for the downloads or other transactions in connection with the products may not be warranted.
6.5 In case faulty or deficient items are purchased, the customer may ask for remedy or replacement. In case of failure to remedy, the customer may cancel the contract or ask for the recovery of the purchase price. If not otherwise specified herein, any further claims by the customer - for whatever legal reasons - are excluded.
6.6 Identities CIC is not liable for any damages, in particular, Identities CIC is not liable for lost profits or other financial losses of the customer. Any further liability is excluded - regardless of the legal nature of the asserted claim. As far as liability under the foregoing provisions is excluded, this also extends to the personal liability of its own employees, workers, employees and agents.

7.    Privacy Policy
Identities will not pass on any personal details of the customer. Information received from you will help us to continually improve your experience of identitiesforwomen.org.uk and to individually design the service. We use your information to process orders, deliver goods and provide services. We also use your information to communicate with you about orders, products, services and marketing offers; to communicate and to update our records and your customer account and to maintain and improve the content.
