Workbook Selling Guide Part 2

All workbooks will be printed by Identities and sent to customers in a plastic folder with a transparent front cover.

First Steps if you have an idea for a Workbook

1.    Check out the ONLINE SHOP to ensure that your idea does not duplicate Workbooks already on there
2.    To ensure that your idea does not conflict with Workbooks waiting to be placed on the site or currently in planning, write a brief summary of your workbook idea (no more than 150 words) and email to Michelle Swann at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
3.    If your Workbook idea is accepted you will need to follow the guidelines for creation and style.

Workbook Creation and Style Guidelines

1.    Ensure that the document is in plain English.  There are copy writers available who can transform your work into suitable copy if you wish, although this may not always be required.

2.    Ensure that your document is proof read to a good standard before submitting it to us.  If your document requires a lot of preparatory work we will advise you and return it for you to carry out the work. Alternatively a reasonable quote can be given for Identities to complete it to a satisfactory standard.

3.    When creating a Workbook remember to include a good mix of information and interactive activity.

4.    Ensure that you style your document so that it is easy and enjoyable to read.  The document needs main titles, sub titles and short, punchy paragraphs. Do not forget that interactive activity throughout the workbook will make it interesting and break up the amount of reading in one go.  You can always look at existing workbooks on the site and see how they have been prepared.  Please contact us for more help if required.

5.    Create a front page for your Workbook in JPEG or PNG format, with your logo, the title, your name and copyright mark.

6.    Write a short 60-70 word description of the content.  This is what members will read when they are deciding to purchase, so a succinct yet full description is required.
